Tian Yiyi, an overworked office worker, means to send her ice-cold boss Gu Xuan a resignation letter. Instead she sends him the web novel she has been writing with him as the model for its hero. He decides she must be secretly in love with him and starts talking himself into returning the feeling. Every attempt she makes to explain only makes things worse. She set out to slack off until he fired her, and somehow ends up leading the company’s AI emotion project instead.
