Judy, a fashion designer from the 21st century, is in a car crash and wakes up in the 1980s as Zhu Fuling, an overweight village woman with a terrible reputation. The woman whose life she has stepped into was talked into an affair by a smooth-talking social climber, despite having a devoted and strikingly handsome husband, Cheng Yue. Judy decides to turn it all around: lose the weight, make some money, and take proper care of the husband she didn’t know she had. Her modern know-how and her eye for clothes are the tools she has to do it.
