The coming of age story of Skye, a young girl who desperately flees from her home to escape a vindictive and emotionally abusive step mother. Amidst her journey, she comes across another runaway; a young boy named Ethan, who comes from an even more dire situation than her own; a resentful and physically abusive, alcoholic father.
