Ikuo and Tojiro both trained in hypnosis under the same master, Manryu. Now, however, Tojiro is a popular hypnotist who appears on television, while Ikuo can only look on with envy at his success. This is because Ikuo had used hypnosis to serve his own desires; after losing the battle to become the master's successor, he was expelled by Manryu. Consequently, Ikuo plots to use hypnosis to seduce Tojiro's wife, Narumi Anzai.
